8/31/09: My new art studio at the Poudre River Arts Center is coming along nicely. I keep rearranging the furniture and moving things around, but I'm sure I'll settle in eventually. Here's what you'll see when you come visit on First Friday:

• I have added some new products, such as ink pads, stamps, beads and jewelry findings.
• I'm fresh from Art Unraveled and will be showing the work I created there (even though some of it is still in progress!).
• I'll also be doing a demo of stamping with watercolors - It's so fun and easy, you'll love it!
• Lastly, I'll have a class schedule posted and will be taking signups. If you can't make it in person, I'll be posting the class schedule on the site over Labor Day weekend and you can sign up online.

Be sure to visit on First Friday if you're in the area!

6/25/09: The Sunshine Factory has a new studio!

It all started about 8 years ago, when my life was in great upheaval, and a dear friend said to me,

“If mOnEy WaSn't aN iSsuE,
wHAt woUld YoU wAnt to dO?”

I replied, “I want to be a working artist.”
She said,
“Then do it.”

I couldn't argue with logic like that, so I've been doing little things over the years to get closer to this goal. Having a studio at Poudre River Arts Center is a huge, massive step of epic proportions and I'd love for you to celebrate with me!
