Where have I been? Building a cool scrapbooking supplies website!

The past (almost) two months have been very busy with work and life things. I usually don’t blog here about personal stuff because this blog is all about art. For those who aren’t in the know, my days are spent as a freelance website designer/consultant. I have been spending a lot of time working lately. So much so that my web design blog and this blog, not to mention my Live Journal and my personal paper journal have all gone dormant. And let’s not even talk about how much my craft table misses me! I’m working on fixing all of that, though. Dealing with some heavy personal issues and work challenges definitely require some good old fashioned art therapy.

Speaking of art therapy, sometimes we also require shopping therapy. I can’t really do much of that right now, but I thought I’d pass on some info about this cool site. Granted, I built it, so I’m also being a proud mama. 😉 This is my biggest web project to date: The Memory Zone Scrapbooking Store, LLC.

Those who know me know I am not a scrapbooker by any stretch of the imagination, but I love going to scrapbook stores for all of the cool tools, stickers, embellishments and other fun toys they have. I recently shopped at the The Memory Zone’s online scrapbooking store and I was impressed with their service and selection. I got a few doodling templates and the cool Basic Grey paper file kit.

The Memory Zone is located in Plymouth, Indiana. Rhonda and Marlene, the sisters who run the store, are completely devoted to their customers, providing great service and instruction. If you’re in the area, please do go and check them out, take a class or two! If you’re looking for an online scrapbooking store, complete with free scrapbooking ideas and QuicKutz products, surf on over!

I’ll get back here with some photos soon. Since I last posted some artwork, I took classes with Michael deMeng and Tejae Floyd, so I have some YUMMY stuff to show off!
